About the Golden Screen Awards

The Golden Screen Awards is the awards ceremony which aims to recognize outstanding contributions for film and TV Producers, Directors, Screenwriters, Actors, Cinematographers, Composers, and Sound Designers. The awards foster collaboration and development in the international industrial arena for projects to enhance the value of creativity, production and technology for the global market growth.


After three years of interruption by the Pandemic, the 2024 Golden Screen Awards returns with an elevated mission to reach out a wider range of international filmmakers to participate. The event will continue the celebration to discover excellent international co-production projects, to provide a platform for exchange and learning among international screen communities, and showcase unique cultures of various people of nationalities. The awards also carries on supporting talented young filmmakers around the world as they step into the international film and TV industries. 


Background of The Golden Screen Awards - The purpose of the ceremony is to promote comprehensive cooperation and mutual benefits for the international screen communities.

The Golden Screen Awards was inaugurated in 2016 by four organizations:


The US-China Film & TV Industry Expo (UCFTI Expo) 

The Hollywood Reporter (THR) 

The Motion Picture Association (MPA)

The China Film Co-Production Corporation (CFCC)
